WEDNESDAY JUNE 6-- Kate was Whoopi Goldberg's guest on her popular morning talk show, "Wake Up With Whoopi," on WKTU--103.5 in New York City. The show is networked across America, click here to see the list of affiliate stations or to access their live webstreams. Kate had a blast talking about her latest adventures and her upcoming BB King's show.

Later on June 6th, Kate visited with late night talk show host Joey Reynolds on WOR 710 am in New York.

WEDNESDAY MARCH 28--Kate again was Joey Reynolds' guest on his WOR-New York radio show.  During her 2 hour appearance, she and Joey enjoyed a special call in from their friend, Jackie "The Joke Man" Martling.

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 31-- Kate was honored to spend an hour with legendary DJ and talk show host, Joey Reynolds, on New York's famed WOR Radio. The networked show is broadcast from NY to Hawaii and heard around the world on the internet.  Click here to listen to the show from their archives.

MONDAY JANUARY 29--Kate, along with the cast of Jersey Boys, The Tokens, Larry Gatlin, Micky Dolenz and comedian Caroline Rhea wowed the sellout crowd at Rockers on Broadway, held at BB King's in NYC. 

FRIDAY JANUARY 12, 2007--Kate was Alan Shartock's guest on his morning Round Table program on WAMC Public Radio. WAMC is based in Albany but is actually a very large broadcast network, reaching east to the Berkshires and north to Plattsburgh

SATURADAY NOVEMBER 11--Kate was Laura Flanders' guest on  her show, Radio Nation, on Air America Radio. Kate and Laura discussed the recent election results and Kate treated listeners to a live song. FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 29--Kate was the special guest on Shawn Henderson's "Stay Tuned" show on WSCA in Portsmouth, NH.  Kate sang live on the air and shared stories of her latest adventures.  The show airs locally at 106.1 FM or access their live webstream here.

THURSDAY AUGUST 24-- Kate was a guest on The Craft Show on Martha Stewart Living Radio.  The show aired live at 9am Eastern on channel 112 on Sirius and highlighted Kate's experiences (and her great talent) working with the Wampum shell.  

FRIDAY JUNE 9--Kate was honored to be the commencement speaker at her alma mater, The Arlington School, in Belmont, Mass.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 30--Kate's CD release party was featured in the MV Times and includes a photo of her with legendary Beatles and British Invasion promoter, Sid Bernstein.

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 27--Kate is thrilled to announce the release of her new CD, "Kate Taylor Live at The Cutting Room."  The recording was made during her December 10, 2004 show and includes many songs never before available on CD, such as "I Fell in Love," "Crying in the Rain," and "The Water is Wide."  Also included are performances with her daughters Aquinnah and Elizabeth, a rousing version of "Sea Cruise" with niece Sally Taylor and a heart melting "You Can Close Your Eyes" with Carly Simon.

The CD release party is set for The Cutting Room, Friday, September 30 at 8pm.  Special advance copies of the CD will be available for purchase at the show or click here to buy now.

FRIDAY JUNE 10--Kate is honored to join a group of artists, ecologists, and human rights advocates to launch REPLANT HAITI, a reforestation project for the small Caribbean country whose people have been battered by political and economic turmoil, outside intervention and a devastating rage of storms and floods. The committee for the gala event and concert includes a stunning group of Haitian musicians, joined by actor and Haiti advocate Danny Glover, actress and activist Susan Sarandon, human rights attorney (Guantanamo) Michael Ratner and Essence Magazine’s Founder Susan L. Taylor.

SUNDAY MAY 8--Wow, what a great party at Room With A View!  The store is so beautiful and was packed --everyone had a blast! Kate was happy to see her longtime friends, singers Arnold McCuller, Kate Markowitz and Rosemary Butler at the show.  Check "notes from Kate" for a full review soon.

SATURDAY MAY 7--Kate and the band fly to sunny California to help celebrate the 15th anniversary of Room With a View, Santa Monica's most beautiful boutique and local hotspot. Come at 8 and join Kate's West coast fans and celebs galore at this gala event! 

THURSDAY MAY 5, 2005--Kate helps acclaimed author, photographer and radio host Peter Simon launch his new show on WUMB/Boston at 7pm. The weekly show, called "Private Collection," will feature recordings from Peter's vast, personal library and special guests from the worlds of rock, folk, pop and reggae. Each show will have a different theme, just like the good ol' days of 1960's FM radio.  In honor of Mother's Day, Peter invited his "forever" sister in law to come sing her favorite Mom tunes (including the first song she ever wrote) and talk about the joys of motherhood.
